1936 Old Zenith Tombstone Radio Model 6V27We have pu for auction this amazing 1936 zenith model 6-v-27 tombstone tabletop radio! Beautiful case, still has original paper label on the bottom, amazing dial, just a sharp attractive looking radio! Measurements are just shy of 23 inches tall, 12 inches deep and 17 inches wide! Btotom edging on the front does have some light wear to the wood, other then that the front looks pretty good, nice dial, knobs turn as they should, and the front grille wood is in very very very good condition! This set is battery operated it has all of the components as afr as i can tell, however outside insulation on the wires is nearly gone. hWoever buys this great radio is going to have to do some restoration work, i'm not sure how hard this would be to convert to ac, but i believe it wouldn't be too hard of a task for someone with a little bit of experience in restoring old radios. I have the shipping set at 50 dollars for ups ground, this includes insurance of the final selling value. If for some reasno this is a gross overestimation, you will receive a partial refund!
