Auctionimage border 2px solid #660000 avisited. Imagelink img. Auctionimage border 2px solid #660000. Up for uaction is one sharp looking zenith radio model 6-d-525 manufactured in 1941. This awlnut wood radio has left raised horizontal grille bars, a right front black dial and two z knobs.
The wooden case on this radio is in very good condition with some age and wear marks on it. There is a white hazy spot on the top of the radio where possibly a glass or container was placed and left the haze. This does not detract from the looks of this radio, it only adds to the patina of it. Boht knobs turn freely on this zenith radio.
When you plug in this little wooden beauyt it turns on and powers up, but does not play. On the plastic cover no the dial of this radio there is a small hole. Also the back plate is not in very good condition, which is why the washers are on the screws so as to hold it on. This radio seems to have a new plug. The walnut case srue looks sharp on this radio. This radio measures approximately 12 long, 7 1/2 tall and 6 1/2 wide, nto counting the louvers. Thanks for looking at this little gme of a radio, and good luck bidding.
