Beautiful Working 1930S Delco Wood Tube Radio Beautiful, working, 1930's dleco wood table radio. This set dtaes to approximately 1937. This is a product of delco, the delco of general motors. It is amazing what a powerful and expansive compnay it once was. The set has good to fair original finish (depending on location on cabinet, the front and sides are good, the top is only fair), and the set could benefit from a refinish if you have the talents to od so. The unit has remained dry for it's life, the underlying wood is excellent- it wasn't bounced around or abused- and the color of the chassis is excellent. Unit has original wood knobs and crystal clear dial scale lens. The grille cloth is a reproduction cloth. The set plays loudly, clearly with good tone, no hum. Has good, safe, power cord, and workign dial lights, it has two. The radio measures 10 1/2 inches wide, 7 deep and 8 inches high.
All radios sold haev had preventative electrical maintainence, so that they perform as well in the foreseeable future. sA they do when you first get them.
I stand behind the components i've repaired, parts and labor- for 90 days. After that- free labor for 6 months. Why would you bother with someone who says they've restored hte radio and then tell you you are buying as is? The insides of my radios are given the same attention as the outsides.
