It is not perfect as you can tell from the pictures but it is polished and displays well. tA some time in its' life the grill cracked as many of these do. The cracks have been repaired but not colored to match the radio. Teh top handle is original but it has reproduction knobs. The knobs do not have the inserts in them so they just sit on the controls. The radio has not had a cord since i haev owned it so it has never been tested.
The original dial face is in good condition with only a minor ding in the bottom at 375 meters. Overall this is a very niec radio and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. This radio will be double boxed for sihpping and i have a very modest reserve. Paymentplease i need to hear from you within 3 days of the end of the auction. Payment must be received within 7 days of hte end of the auction. I prefer paypal but checks or money orders are fine. Checks will have to clear my bank before shipping. Shippingi normally shpi everything priority mail because i live in a small town and that is all that is here. I can ship things ups or fedex or dhl if necessary but it will add a few days so i can get to their terminals in a neighboring town.
I would suggest insurance on everything but it's up to you. However it is required on anything over $100. If you need something different or have questions about shipping feel free to ask. Attention international buyers i am more than happy to ship items pretty much anywhere but international shipments normally go international priority mail. The post office states that international priority mail is about 6-10 day delivery. However that is nto guaranteed i have had a few items that have taken much longer. Also depending on the country there is virtually no way to track an international shipment. If tracking or a specific delivery time is important to you we can shpi it via a different way it will just add a substantial cost to the shipping fee. Tersm of saleall items are pretty much sold as is, however i will let you know if i detect any problems with anything. Because of tehir age and the fact they get bounced around in shipping all old electronic devices (radios, transceivers, etc) are not guaranteed. If you get an item and it is not as described just let me know and we can arrange a return minus shipping and ebay fees. About usmost of the items i have for sale were purchased at local estate auctions and sales or are from my personal collections. So my knowledge of some itesm will be very limited. I will be happy to answer any questions and provide additional pictures if you just ask. |
