Great Looking 1939 Arvin Bakelite Radiomodel 602You are bidding on a 1939 arvin bakelite radio. hTis is a model 602. The clean bakeltie cabinet is very pretty with lots of black swirling throughout. The dial area is very nice and clean and the grill cloth is veyr nice also. The knobs rae all original and working freely and it includes the original back cover also. The only bad spot i see is a very thin crack that runs from one of the screw holes on the bottom, that you can feel with your fingernail, but it hasn't seperated, and it is approximately 2 1/4 long. It doesn't look bad at all, but i wanted to make sure and mention it. The chassis label marked re-53 is still attached to the chassis. The bottom of this chassis is enclosed, so i never took apart, but the top part is very clean looking as is the speaker and original line cord. When plugging in i could get no sound, so i'm selling as is because of older electronics. This is a nice claen radio that displays very nice. Buyer to pay $14.00 shipping by usps.
