Old Jackson Bell Radio Very Beautiful ConditionOld jackson bell radio. Up for bid is an old jackson bell radio. I didn't try to plug it in to see if it works. This tube radio appears to be complete. The knobs, cord, and plug look all original. There is some wear on the wood otherwise it looks in wonderful condition for its age. The radio itself weighs 20 lbs. It measures aprox 13 inches wide, 16 inches high, and 9 inches deep. I purchased from an estate sale and was unable to find out details about it so i'm selling it as is condition. All jackson-bell radios were built at the gilfillan bros, inc. Plant in los angeles, california due to gilfillan's exclusive licensing arrangement with rca. The radio that is shown in my auction from what i haev been able to find is probably from 1932 and has the appearance of a model 86. In late 1932 the company wnet bankrupt. By 1933, herb bell had formed packard-bell.
