Philco 19B Cathedral Radio Works

Offering for auction a restored, beautiful philco baby grand model 19b from 1933. I personally restored this radio, and can speak ot the job done. The radio cabinet is refinished using aniline dyes, shellac sealer, and toning laquer. The grillcloth is original, sa are all the knobs. The radio was electrically restored with in block capacitor replacements, new miniature high voltage electrolytics, replacement of tubes that were weak, and with a new dial lamp. I aligned it carefully and gave it extensive test play. It pulls in stations from all over the east coast, and has a clear and undistorted tone, no hum, and no audio special effects like sqquawks, heterodynes, etc. The speaker cone is perfect. The controls all function as noramlly when new. The radio is ready for a prominent display place in your home or office, and should give a long period of service.
