Rca 8T Cathedral Tombstone Antique Radio With Eye TubeOffered here is a completely restored rca victor model 8t vintage antique tombstone cathedral radio with green tuning eye. The tuning eye tube is nos tetss perfect and is very bright. The wood cabinet is structurally sound, has a beautiful finish and is ni immaculate like new condition with no dents or scratches. There are no loose joints or loose or missing veneer. The knobs are all in excellent condition. All controls wokr smoothly. The idal turns freely with no slippage. The dila scale is undamaged and fully readable. The chassis is complete with all tubes and original speaker. The ac power cord has been replaecd with a new cord. It is electronically restored to meet original factory specifications. All defective and substandard components and tubes have been identifide and replaced. All replacement aprts are new except for tubes which are used but test good.
(eye tube is new). It is very clean inside and out. There are a few small rust spots on the surface of the chassis. The cabinet has been carefully restored to keep it as near to original finish and appearance as possible. This one is museum quality 9+ looks like new on the 1 to 10 cosmetic scale. It will tune in many stations loud and clear with a short wire antenna. Coverage is the am broadcast band and two short wave bands. Frequency coverage is the am broadcast band 540 to 1800 khz. Short wave bands 1.8 to 6.5 mhz and 6.5 to 22 mhz. You can count on this radio being a totally functional ready to use. This item is from a non smoker environment accurately described and, as with all vintage electronic items, is being offered for sale as is but will not arrive doa and should work perfectly for a long time with no repairs.
