This is a large vintage 1936 zenith 6 tube 3 band radio. Stadnard broadcast from 540-1550kc (band a).

Short wave 1500-4200kc (band b). And short wave from 5.6-18.2mc. (band c).

This radio tunes american and foreign stations, police, amateur, avation converasations, ships at sea. Tuning range 5 wavebands on three dial ranges. A, b, and c positions. 10 dyamic speaker.

Black magnavision dial, bands individually illuminated in colors. Splict-second tuning.

Overtone amplifier. The tube line-up is 6a8g (lo/ mixer), 6k7g (if), 6h6g (2nd-detector/avc), 6k7g (1st af), 6f6g (power output) and 5y3g (rectifier). Housed in a nice brown console cabinet. iLghted black dial. nI very good +condition. tI has a very good sound and is in very good playing condition. Has 6 tubes and a 10 speaker.

It can receive brodcast from around the world, of coarse with an approiate antenna. The size of it is 42 1/2 tall x 27 wide x 17 1/4 deep. Weights about 40 pounds. It has a 10 speaker.

Cabinet is in very good + condition, all original wood and tubes. Has one small flaw on the right lower front speaker grill abotu 3 inches wheir the veneer came off plus afew light scuff marks, (see pictures) but it easly can be repaired and revarnished.

Speaker grill cloth is aged a little but not to bad. I replaced the power cord that was to bad to be safe to plug it in to the electric. Other then that this radio is in great condition. Would take very little work to completly restore it.

Their is a number on the chassie plate n157992 that probaly is the serial number. Attention please read listing carefully before you bid. Itme is sold as is.

Shipement of this radio will be by ups ground from the toledo, ohio area 43445. The cost of shipement woudl be according to the shipping destination. Use shipping calicator no listing.
