Vintage Rca Console Floor Radio 1936 Model 9K3 NicePresenting a beautiful rca floor model tube radio from 1936 in outstanding condition. It is the model 9k3 (so called for having nine tubes and three reception bands). The radio was recently professionally aligned and capacitors replaced. The magic eye tuning tube is new and glows brightly, while two weak tubse were replaced with old stock. Sensitivity on am and shortwave bands alike is great. The tone si superb, and there is no ac hum. The cabinet si in exceptional, original condition. The bakelite knobs fit properly adn have no cracks. The speaker grill cloth is original, with no stains or tears. There are no scratches on the clear plastic bezel covering the dial. The dial is comprised of two round plates. The larger dial plate is original, while the smaller vernier lower dial is an exact reproduction. This radio has been a solid performer with great sound and reception, but i need to make space in my bedroom. The set's dimensions are 41 inches high, 27 inches wide, and 13 inches deep.
